Quality control

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for your patience! We wanted to wait with an update until we received the first proof copies. The softcover Kickstarter edition is now in and we can't describe how wonderful it is to hold the fruits of our labors in our hands. The hardcover edition should be here this week, and we'll share photos as soon as possible. The retail edition will follow very soon as well. Our focus right now is on the Kickstarter editions.

We do have some quality control to do, some tweaks to the coloring of the cover and work with our printing partner on the sharpness of the text. We also need to fix some formatting on the inside because we're losing detail that we absolutely need to provide you with the best possible experience. We're still aiming to have everything shipped out to you before the end of October (early November for the retail edition). 

The bookmarks are in as well. We're very happy with the quality! The puzzle on the back should provide you with a fun challenge. Pencils will follow later this month.

Backerkit surveys

We're still missing some completed surveys or information from some backers. We'll send another reminder if we haven't received your info. We have pushed the deadline once, but we'll need to lock the orders and also get information for the legendary credits pages.

If you need to change anything you'll be able to do so until this Sunday the 22nd of September. After that you'll need to get in touch with us if anything changes on your side.

Hi everyone,

Big thank you to all that have taken the time to respond to our hint generator post. We’ve read all of the comments and really appreciate your ideas and suggestions! It looks like option D (tiered hints/nudges, with an extra option to validate your answer) is the clear favorite out of the four options. We’re already working on a prototype as we speak!

Important week ahead. Late pledges for the discounted retail edition will close this Thursday. After that we’ll be sending out the surveys. Keep an eye on your inbox starting this Friday. We’ll post an extra update as soon as the surveys start rolling out. We’re using Backerkit to collect your information, shipping, etc. 

We’ve had multiple requests from backers who’d like to add extra copies to their pledge, you’ll be able to do that through Backerkit. You’ll also find the add-ons there, in case you’d like to grab a puzzle bookmark and an infinity pencil with a cypher.
